We had a sudden rainstorm this evening. It moved in with lots of wind and about 30-45 minutes of downpour. It cooled the afternoon off, but messed about with the power, and the cable. The power was back almost immediately. If the cable had been on an hour ago, this would be longer, however...

Marie and I were talking about the unforgettable smell of rain in the desert. Amazing stuff.

Power outages can be fun too, with the right mind-set.

So far it is hot and sweaty. Since almost everyone had to move, there was a lot of that going on today, and not a lot of the usual preparation stuff... Yep, I had to move, too.
